Most speeding tickets received in Southampton are returnable to the Southampton Town Court, located at 32 Jackson Avenue, Hampton Bays, NY. Speeding tickets received within the Village of Southampton are heard at the Southampton Village Court located at 151 Windmill Road, Southampton. The Southampton Town Court has both morning and afternoon sessions. Four Judges preside over the cases on a rotating basis. Speeding tickets are prosecuted by assistant district attorney from the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office. Indicted Felony cases are transferred to the County Court in Riverhead.
